Frequently Asked Questions

FREE DELIVERY on all orders over £400

If your order falls below £400, you will be charged a small delivery fee of only £25.00.

Free UK Delivery apples to UK Mainland only, excluding remote areas of Scotland with the following post codes: KW, IV, HS, AB

We use a professional furniture distribution company to deliver furniture on our behalf. Once your goods have been produced and are delivered to our distribution company you will be contacted and delivery arrangements will be confirmed.

  • Deliveries are normally made within 10 working days of goods becoming available with our home delivery service.
  • Deliveries are made between 7am-7pm, Monday - Friday and are prioritized AM or PM.

We cannot normally guarantee evening deliveries of any orders

Some smaller items and flat packed bed frames can be delivered by courier. Timed, evening and saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra cost, but these services do not cover all areas - if you require one of these extra services please contact us on either 0845 899 11 99 or by e-mail on sales@shop4furniture.net

Our standard delivery includes delivery to a room of your choice providing that this is accessible and provides no health and safety risks to our drivers.

If we are not able to place the furniture in your chosen room we will place it in the room nearest to your choice.

Unfortunately we are not able to unpack the furniture or, due to logistical issues, to remove old items of furniture.

Please retain the original packaging for 14 days for the purpose of returning any faulty or damaged items.

Courier delivered items are to your door only, they will not make a delivery into the property due to insurance limitations. If they agree to do so it is at your own risk and no loss or damage will be covered.

We would advise all customers NOT to remove their old furniture until the new furniture has been delivered.

Delivery times are given in good faith, however, deliveries can be affected by many things beyond our control and we cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from failure to deliver due to unforeseen circumstances, such as acts of god, strikes or delays by suppliers.

Q. Will you take my new chair upstairs, when you deliver?
Yes, our specialist furniture delivery team will deliver your new furniture into a room of your choice, whether up or down stairs.

Q. Could you remove my old furniture when you deliver?
No, unfortunately we cannot remove old furniture. However, most good councils offer a furniture removal service that will arrange disposal of such items.

Q. How long will my chair take to arrive?
Our range of chairs are delivered into our delivery company within 10 working days although this may vary due to production limitations, factory shut-downs or delays which are out of our control, we will notify you of any significant change at time of confirmation.

Q. How long will my bed take to arrive?
Delivery times are normally quoted as 3 - 4 weeks from supplier although this may vary, we will notify you of any significant change at time of confirmation.

If you wish to 'chase' your order please contact us with your order details and we will be happy to give you an estimated delivery date.
